The Nova 3 is built around two components that usually cost more: a mid-drive motor — centered mass, geared drive, the architecture real electric motorcycles use — and hydraulic disc brakes, which outperform the cable-pull brakes common at this price every single time you grab a handful.

Freego publishes its range the honest way, and so do we: up to 50 miles if you cruise at 10 mph, about 20 miles if you hold it wide open at its 40 mph top speed. Real riding lands in between — plan on a solid afternoon per charge from the 60V pack.
