79Bike Falcon Lite

Every pound matters in the dirt, and the Falcon Lite weighs 138 of them — battery included. That's the whole story of this bike: an aluminum-alloy frame carrying an 8,000W peak motor and 340 N·m of torque, which works out to a power-to-weight ratio that embarrasses gas bikes twice its displacement class.

Light doesn't mean soft. The 72V 30Ah NMC lithium pack pushes it to 52 mph and up to 50 miles of trail on a charge, then refills in 3–4 hours. Braking is a 220mm disc up front and 203mm in back — serious rotors for a bike this weight — with 220mm of front suspension travel eating the hits.

Proper dirt geometry too: a 19-inch front wheel, 32.7-inch seat height, and a 1250mm wheelbase. It rides like a full-size bike that someone deleted forty unnecessary pounds from — flickable in tight trees, composed when it opens up.
